Great place to stay with pup

I stop here anytime I’m on my way to Louisiana. It’s very clean which is really important to me, especially when I’m traveling with my dog. It’s easily accessible and great breakfast -comfy bed and staff is always kind and helpful, particularly Monique!

Above and Beyond

Monique August was a wonderful help and went above and beyond to make my stay a fantastic experience. I would definitely stay here again. From the point of checking in to leaving all the staff was helpful, friendly, and made sure the guests were given 5 star treatment.

Excellent, friendly and accommodating staff. The people are just great. The hotel is older and needs some updating but it is very, very clean and well kept. To me, the bed is too firm, but that is different for every person. Breakfast is good. I have stayed here before and would stay here again.

No hot water...never to return

Traveled 8 hours, room is fairly clean. Appears dog food is in the corner of the closed door. Biggest issue is there's no hot water. Ran sink and tub for 15 minutes and water lukewarm at best. Went to desk and clerk told me run the water longer. Advised already have then he said to wait 30 minutes to an hour and try again. I need a bath now. It's 10:45 PM and I'm leaving early in the morning. My family is not happy that we now have to travel another 8 hours tomorrow with no bath/shower. Unacceptable! It's now 12:15 AM and water is a little warmer but still not warm enough to shower. Thanks, I'm going home dirty! Never will return here and cannot recommend it to anyone.

First, let me say that the staff were great.
Secondly, the bathroom really needs upgrades, especially the tub. But what I couldn't overlook was the roaches behind the fridge and in both corners beside the vanity. Pull the microwave and fridge out, clean behind them. I will never stay there again.
