We had a pleasant experience. The cottage was clean and had all the necessities. Peaceful location in a lovely area with a nice stream that runs through it. Was unaware the cottage did not have a television. I'm sure all those who seek to disconnect will be grateful for that. For all others they do have wifi services if you want or need.

Lovely "almost fully equipped" Cottage

Stayed in the Laurel Cottage which was quite lovely. Things to know, however, are that although there is a kitchen it does not have an oven or dishwasher and there is no ice tray in the freezer (You can get a bag of ice from the office). Biggest thing to be aware of before you book is that the resort intentionally does not provide TVs in the cottages/cabins. This is not clear on the website when booking (in small print on a different page) so if that matters to you, be aware. They do have pretty good wi-fi.

The inside of Laurel Cabin was dusty and somewhat dirty. The dishes were dirty and cracked. The paper products were cheap. There was a small snowstorm while we were there and the walks were not cleared until a day later. Overall, the place was not well cared for.

Not for travel savvy couples but for families with kids

This “resort” is 10 seconds from a busy road. We could see cars driving by from our cottage. Interior of our room (Laurel) was nice but needs updates. There were 3 different types of floor finishes and for $300/night it’s just a bad taste. Staff are friendly and the properly was very well maintained. Streams throughout the property were so beautiful. Unfortunately, for couples who travel extensively throughout the world, this place is not a resort but a family oriented high end cottage-style outdated hotel.

My room was very clean, the heater worked. Front office seemed never to be open, but that could be due to the time of year (November). Very quiet. WiFi available and working. I would have liked to have had Kleenex and a wider tea selection, but there was tea and coffee, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, etc
No ironing board and no iron. Could have used more hangars. Overall it was very comfortable- the bed and pillows were just right . The surrounding property is very pretty and it would be a perfect venue for an event such as a wedding or party.
