Strange experience with staff member
During our 1 night stay prior to our flight the following morning a strange situation occurred:
A lovely, helpful and informative female member of staff welcomed us into the hotel and during the process she gave us important information regarding booking our taxi to the airport the next day. She also took a copy of our forms of identification as part of standard operations however, this is where it got strange leading into the following day…
During our stay a different Iranian male member of staff (as specified in his Instagram bio) requested my partner on Instagram. This was the member of staff we later seen about booking the taxi which was previously advised to do so by the helpful female member of staff earlier that evening who welcomed us upon arrival. My partner denied the request from the male as this was seen as a strange situation considering he wasn’t the staff member who took our ID when we arrived? We thought nothing else of it and carried on with our evening which we enjoyed thoroughly!
The following day as we were sat in the airport waiting for our flight he then requested her again which she then resulted to blocking the male staff member from the social media app.
This is something we have never heard of anyone let alone ourselves experiencing so the need to write this appeared appropriate.
Unfortunately because of this one strange occurrence I could never justify staying here!
However, Bergamo itself is lovely and we had a great time on the busy streets eating ice cream!

Visit with friends
The breakfasts were also really good. Plenty to eat. Our rooms were lovely. We faced onto the courtyard. The hotel is in a perfect location near bus stop, train station and easy access to old town.
The only disappointment was the weather.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon
