We understand how frustrating it must have been to feel that your loyalty was not fully acknowledged. While our current policy requires in-person check-in for benefit validation, we recognize that this may not align with the practices of other properties, and we are actively reviewing our procedures to ensure they are both fair and guest-friendly.
We also regret that you found our Wi-Fi and buffet offerings unsatisfactory. Our goal is always to provide high-quality services and amenities that reflect the value of your stay. I hope no one else gets hurt!
I stayed at the hotel for 5 days. The hotel itself is decent, and the service and people are excellent.
However, when I left for a couple of days to Punta Cana, upon my return I discovered that they had moved me to another room, opened my safe, and took my belongings, despite the fact that my 5-day stay hadn't ended and the room was paid for upfront.
Moreover, I had left vital medication in the refrigerator, and I had to search for it - fortunately, it was found.
I have traveled extensively and stayed in various hotels, but I've never encountered such outrageous behavior!
Not only did they open my safe and take my belongings, but they could have at least called or messaged me on WhatsApp, as the hotel staff had all my contact information.
For a Marriott hotel, this is simply an egregious case!
P.S. In any other hotel, they would not only have apologized but also offered some compensation: an upgraded room or a complimentary dinner, but in this hotel, management doesn't know how to apologize, although the reception staff were extremely attentive and tactful.
