Pool was unavailable due to private party and this is the 2nd time this has occurred. The same thing happened on a previous trip. To make matters worse, our room was directly beneath the pool bar area. They began their party preparations at 5am and it was impossible to sleep due to the noise. Fortunately, they moved us to a different room the next day.
I like this property but if they continue to block the pool area for weddings or other private events, they should stop advertising that the property has a pool.

The hotel has the perfect location! Just in the middle of old town. The rooms are very modern and comfy, the rooftop has an amazing view!

We enjoyed our stay at the Santa Catalina Hotel. It was the final night on our trip to Colombia and second hotel in Cartagena. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooftop was a highlight! The room itself was a bit small and darker compared to other places we stayed on the trip. The location was right in the middle of the city and very close to whatever we wanted to go to.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It is located very close to most attractions and in the heart of the city. The hotel is clean as are the rooms. The bed is super comfortable and service is very friendly and good. The hotel also offered a great breakfast. Highly recommend!!
