Meersburg and the hotel were something of a revelation to us. Only there for an overnight stay but will certainly be back. Our room was pleasant, clean, seemingly recently refurbished, and very well appointed / designed / set out, with guests’ convenience in mind. The hotel is directly on the lakeside, and our room looked out on to the ferry quay. Peaceful and beautiful. Parking is limited but we were offered a space just a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel - €15, which we thought was a bit steep. One other inconvenience was that breakfast is served in a sister hotel about 200 metres away, though a little electric shuttle is provided, if needed. This was more than compensated for, however, by the magnificent breakfast spread! A huge range of quality food and one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had.

Disappointing stay
Disappointing stay. Decent location next to the main boat pier but probably a 2 star at best. Room was clean but tiny. Hardly any room at sides of double bed or in bathroom. No tea/coffee facilities in room, just a chargeable minibar. Very small reception, which closes at 8pm. Elevator not working on one of the days during our stay. No on-site car parking either. Breakfast was decent, but provided at sister hotel, 5 minute walk away. Overall, felt like a hostel stay, not a hotel. There are better accommodation options in Meersburg.

Nice Small Pension ... pity for the noise!
We stayed one night at this Inn, conveniently located in the charming little lakeside town of Meersburg.
Our room was spacious and comfortable and was located in the Inn’s main building, at the back, on the side of the small pedestrian street.
The only thing we criticize about our stay is that since there is no air conditioning, we slept with the windows open because it was very hot.
(There is a fan in the room but we do not like to sleep with a fan....)
Our night was not at all relaxing because there was a lot of noise all the time: people partied late at night and in the early morning, between the trucks unloading and the small town waking up, it was really very disturbing.
The breakfast was simply extraordinary! It is served at a partner Inn 300 metres away and a small shuttle bus takes you there if you don’t feel like walking.
The choice is immense and the products are fresh and quality.
There is a huge terrace with many lakeside tables that offer spectacular views.
We were cycling and the Inn offers a large room to “park” them safely.

Perfect for a short stay
This establishment is perfectly good for a nice little stay. If we hadn't been in the annex, with no interesting view, we would have put it "perfect" But it's a detail.
The room is a very good size, impeccably clean, the person in charge of reception spoke to us in perfect French. For breakfast you have to go to the Wilder Mann hotel located nearby, parking is also nearby. No complaints. You can go there without risk of being disappointed! To recommend !

Breakfast is not on site but at another hotel 5 min walk away. It is good though.
No restaurant on site.
Parking costs extra.
Parking is not nearby and is a 10 minute walk away.
Lake View room looks out along the lake shore to the south east, there is no view northwards at all.
Rooms are small, bathroom even more so
Reception shuts at 20:00 and with it the main door. After that you have to use a side door and take the stairs to the first floor before you can access the lift. Might be an issue for the less well abled when coming in after eating out in the evening.
A nice place overall, but none of these things were mentioned when booking or on the website, you only get to discover this after booking or upon arrival.
