The beach apartment of dreams
We could not have loved our stay at The Quarter Deck more! It is such a beautifully designed apartment, which makes an ideal base for relaxing in Kenton, an off the beaten track little beach town, which lots to love about it. We came as a family of three and the two bedrooms and gorgeous open living space was ample. It has incredible views of the sea, is a five mins walk from the beach/lagoon, which is great for swimming, and the plunge pool on the deck is such a bonus. There is a huge grill that we didn’t use but would be brilliant with some supplies from the butchers in town. We had breakfast included at the House Quarters and loved ambling over there and choosing from the huge menu. We had a late lunch there one day too and the food was incredible, with delicious wines to have there or take home. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. We had treatments at the spa which were wonderful. Recommend Kenton Asian for a meal or takeaway and the bakery is stunning. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back.

Kenton-on-sea summer bliss
Superb!!!! What an amazing concept. Four separate but joined apartments. 12 beds and 2 plunge pools in the heart of kenton-on-sea. Helpful and friendly staff. Close to beaches restaurants coffee shops and the Spar. Kitchens well equipped.

A gorgeous family getaway
We spent a week as a family at The Quarter Deck. The apartment was lovely and spacious, conveniently situated and we walked to the beach, out for dinner and loved the small pool for refreshing swims.
Kenton is ideal for a family getaway. The beaches were pristine and each spot offered something unique. Lovely early coffees, breakfast buns and swims at Middle Beach, catching waves and paddling at Kariega Beach and gorgeous slow mornings and gentle swims at Shelley Beach Cove. Beautiful views, crystal seas and clean, clear lagoons.
Fun evenings at Kenton Asian, tasty pizzas and beers at Pizzerella and then games of paddle, ice creams & tasty fare at Volo.
Much to do. Beautiful location. Highly recommended.

Didn’t make luxury for me
We stayed downstairs and I can’t comment on upstairs.
It was spacious and with a comfy bed and very nice looking. Separate bath and good shower.
However, the big sofa meant there was no table. Advertised as self-catering, but no-where to eat. No outdoor furniture either.
Toaster was broken and no coffee machine. Had to clean utensils before using.
Beach towels were not cotton, which I would expect in this price range. Though the shower towels were nice.
Place smelled damp.
Generally, expected more quality.
