This hotel is NOT in Christiansburg as advertised! It is past Christiansburg and in Roanoke.. 10 miles away from Virginia Tech university. This is false advertising and should be changed.

Traveling to Virginia from Western NC to pick up a pedal car for my husbands collection. Just getting out of town and staying in a nice pleasant hotel was a great break!

The only drawback was there were no places to eat less than a 6-10 minute drive away.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, the condition of the room left a lot to be desired. The toiletries in the bathroom were used, we had one partial roll of toilet paper and ended up running out. The sheets and duvet were dirty. There was pet hair on the furniture (this was a pet friendly room so I get it, but perhaps hard floor and leather furniture would be easier to clean).

Friendly staff, check in process was quick and easy. The room was not smelly like some rooms at pet-friendly hotels. The white bed linens and towels passed my ultraviolet light test. There were no stains and in good condition. The furniture surfaces and appliances also passed the ultraviolet test. The toilet in the bathroom, however did show signs that it WAS cleaned with a detergent, but not completely wiped away. I did not find this a big deal since the floor, sink and tub were spotless.
I found that this hotel was well maintained and the staff polite, friendly, and present (I always saw someone at the front desk or breakfast room.). I would definitely stay here again on my trips from the northeast to the south.
