Een zeer vriendelijk garden hotel en restaurant
Dit is een prachtig hotel net aan de rand van Nakhon Sri Thammarat stad. Het heeft zowel een klein hotel blok evenals sommige bungalow aan de rand van een meer waar u kunt wandelen rond voor oefening. Het is brandschoon en de service is zeer goed, er is zelfs een zwembad voor gebruik in de ochtend en avond! Veel parkeergelegenheid als u zelf een auto te verkennen het zuiden. Er is een goed ontbijt en het is verbonden met de bekende Nam Choup restaurant dat in hetzelfde Elektrisch isolatiemiddel dus de keuze van zuid Thaise eten is goed. De eigenaar van zowel het hotel & restaurant blijkbaar liep een restaurant in Los Angeles voor vele jaren dus alle normen zijn erg hoog.

Nice place to stay when traveling through. Room terraces overlooking their pond, nice rooms, friendly staff, and low prices in the low season.

Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere
We chose this place for the swimming pool but, sadly, it was out of operation. Due to language difficulties, we didn't get to find out why or if it was just a temporary problem.
The staff were very friendly but not much English spoken. The rooms were excellent and sparkling clean with hood facilities, (fridge, TV - France24 English language etc,). No kettle. We issued the on-site restaurant and had an excellent meal of soft shell crab and chicken and cashew nuts. Breakfast (American or Asian) was served in the lobby area. Very well maintained gardens and lake area. Don't think the spa was operational.
In summary, a decent, if a bit boring drop-off. Own transport essential. Near a main road (noise-wise).

very nice area, idyllic and beautiful scenery. Nice water. The room had a noisy air conditioning. Lack of light to the bathroom and bedroom.

Hidden pearl with nice gardens
We had a fantastic stay at Tamali. The hotel is located outside the city, the air feels fresh and it is quiet. There is a lot of gardens and plants.
There are bungalows at the edge of the small lake and rooms in two small hotel blocks. We stayed at a room but had the opportunity to visit one of the bungalows as well. The standard is high in both. The reason we booked a room was that we have a 3-year-old daughter and the bungalows are VERY close to the lake. Our room was very clean and it had a good shower (not always the case in Thailand).
For breakfast we could choose Thai or western, both were good but not exceptional.
The restaurant that is connected is great! One of the best in the area that I've tried (third time I've been to this area and I usually stay for several weeks). There is also a nice lounge with drinks and snacks.
The WiFi is good and there are plenty of parking lots. They sell some drinks and basic stuff in the reception and it is cheap.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They will help you with transportation and so on. The owner has lived in US. There is a lot of art on the grounds and I think it is made by some relative. The atmosphere of the entire place is very nice.
My wife had massage and thought it was good.
There are many activities. The small pool is a salt water pool (which I like) with nice surroundings. The edges are however rough so use the stairs. There is no children's pool so bring floating aids. There was a sign with opening hours but when we talked to the reception it was no problem to use it at other times.
There are a couple of boats at the lake and fish feeding (fun for kids). For the kids they also have a very small playground.
The outdoor gym is in quite bad shape so do not count on doing any real training there. But on the other hand, it is very nice to run/jog around the lake and the premises in the morning (before it gets too hot). The lakeside was fantastic for some morning yoga as well.
There are also some bicycles that can be borrowed. They might not be in a very good shape however, some maintenance would be good.
