Very cool
The hostel is very good, the rooms are not very spacious but very comfortable. They have very good mattresses and beds.
Everything was very clean, the people at the reception were very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the surroundings and Valencia.
And the surroundings are great, close to the beach and the lagoon.
We will be back

Vies, beschadigd en onvriendelijk persoonlijk
Het hostel is erg vies, er is overal stof en spinnenwebben. Ook is er diverse schade aan de inventaris (lampen, bed, etc). Het personeel is ongelooflijk onvriendelijk en niemand verstaat Engels (zelfs de eigenaar).
Zoek een ander hostel als je de mogelijkheid hebt. Het is geen cent waard.

Good morning PrinzLHP. We regret that you didn't enjoy the experience wherever you were staying because it doesn't belong to our hostal.
We are not only very surprised to read your words but also we can confirm that your pictures are from a different place. First of all, we do not have those tiles in any of our walls and second of all, that we've never had that mold anywhere.
Our beds and air conditioners have been recently changed, so they are completely new. Also our WiFi works without any problem and we haven't received any complaints. Our rooms are cleaned every day by out staff and they are checked so they don't have any dust, cobwebs and they are completely clean.
Regarding the staff they do not remember any complaint like your and we've also asked it to the boss, who doesn't know anything about such a bad experience from any guest. Also, two of our employees speak English perfectly.
Again, we're sorry you didn't have a good experience but we can confirm that it was not in our Hostal. We insist that the picture that you posted do not correspond to our hostel; you can actually check the others ones published by other users. We do not understand why you and your collegue in the next comment have decided to publish these reviews to harm our Hostal with fake pictures and information.

Zeer onvriendelijk personeel. De kamers zijn super vies. Schimmel in de badkamer.
Zeer onvriendelijk personeel. De kamers zijn super vies. Schimmel in de badkamer. De creditcard werkt niet. Alle 3 medewerkers konden geen woord Engels spreken. De wifi werkt niet. Het toilet was kapot toen we aankwamen. Het enige goede was het weer.

We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience in Hostal Andrés Matt. We'd like to apologise for any inconvenient as the credit card machine not working; that's not something that usually happens but, in case it happens, we get it fix as soon as possible.
On the other hand, regarding the cleaning, we always ask to please tidy the room up a little bit before our cleaning staff enters the room. It is very difficult to clean when personal belongings are around the room.

Leuk voor deze prijs ;)
De kamer is schoon. We hadden een balkon dat mooie 'oorzaak was we zijn rokers ;). De mensen hier alleen spreken Spaans. Het restaurant ligt naast het hostel gelegen. Het is niet goedkoop, we betaalden 60 euro's voor ons diner ( 2 personen). Maar het was goed ( Restaurante Robert). Het was vriendelijkheid van naar bed en het Spaanse volk nog horen praten op het terras van het resataurant. De andere buur is het kerkje. Deze ochtend ( zondag) 10 begonnen de stormbal gehesen en we konden mensen horen zingen in de kerk. Er is niet veel te doen in El Saler zelf, maar het is dicht bij het strand - ongeveer 5 minuten lopen ( eet niet uw lunch er sinds je betaalt 6 euro's voor enkele gebakken aardappelen) en op zaterdag het strand van El Saler was vol met locals, gezinnen. Op het strand betaalt u 4 ,- voor een bed & 4 ,- voor een parasol. Het hostal heeft wifi kregen en de mensen zijn vriendelijk. Ontbijt was slecht: een koffie met te veel melk & 2 kleine gebak ( ?). Maar ... voor deze prijs ( 55 ,- / tweepersoonskamer) het is een prima plek om te verblijven voor 1 of 2 nachten.

Fatal!!!!!
I don't recommend it even if they offer it for free. They gave us an interior room on the first floor that smelled terribly of sewage (a very ugly detail from the receptionist who, knowing this and having other rooms without that sewer smell available, would not give it to us until we complained) when we entered they felt like to vomit but it is better not to open the window because it does not improve the situation, on the contrary. A dirty and old hostel, not cared for at all. Narrow stairs and paper walls, we were listening to the TV of those next door all night. It is by far the worst hostel I have ever been in at an exorbitant price, 70 euros.
