Staff was very friendly and helpful. . Location is excellent. TV had no English speaking channels. AC control did not work properly. Could hear conversations of my neighbors. Elevators kept breaking. Had 2 bottles of water everyday. Bathroom amenities were good.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable. No coffee/tea for guests. No ice machine (not sure how badly I want that in Mexico anyway, but it would’ve been nice so I can keep beverages on ice).
Have you ever been to a big city where you’re walking through the streets and you all of the sudden smell what is certainly a sewer nearby? Well, that same smell came into my room in the middle of the night several times throughout my stay and woke me up.
The walls and floors are paper-thin. Fortunately I didn’t have any neighbors close enough for it to wake me up or keep me up, but it’s something to be mindful of.
Thankfully it was a relatively clean property and turndown service was consistent.
I probably wouldn’t stay here again. It’s not bad if you’re in town for a night or two, but I was here 9 nights and found myself wishing I’d have researched hotels more thoroughly before booking.

I've been staying at Hotel PF the last few years I've come into Mexico City, but recent issues will give me pause in the future. The staff are excellent--check-in staff are great, and the housekeeping staff are absolutely fantastic.
However, the facilities are becoming a bit dated; there are unpleasant odors coming out of the AC system, and I feel the temperature control is not great. In February, it can get a bit cold at night, even with the heat on. The shower temperature was another issue, with the water going hot and cold unpredictably, making for uncomfortable showers. Lastly, I've also had some issues with the shower not draining properly. I want to continue to like this place, but I would like to see them update their equipment and plumbling systems.

There were several major issues with our stay culminating with us being kicked out if the property after an altercation with someone who was not a guest of the hotel who we had reported to the hotel. Hotel PF did not properly maintain its policies on having visitors leave identification with the front desk and it led to the police being called for something that hotel secutity could have easily handled if they would have followed through with their stated policy of removing persons from the property once 2 complaints were filed. The staff does not listen to concerns outside of sending towels to the room, anything else is beyond then. My friend was assaulted in the hallway while trying to get into our room and rather than listen to us or review the security footage from the camera on the floor Hotel PF called the police and had us removed from the hotel before dealing with the offenders. One of the absolute worst hotel experiences i have ever had
