I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend!

Silverfish in the bathroom
The room was filled with huge furniture, which prevented us from safely moving around, unless one of us waited for the other to pass. The curtains were impossible to draw. The kitchen area had a terribly looking chair that nobody wished to sit on. On the good side, the beds were beautiful, and the TV was a big screen. The balcony had a great view. The worst thing, however, was the presence of silverfish in the room! It was so gross to have to kill these bugs on the bathroom floor. The manager was nice to offer us free parking as the compensation. The underground parking was small, and the gate was so slow to open and close. There was often nobody around in the reception area. Anyone can walk in on their own merit and climb up to the rooms. This did not feel welcoming nor safe. Breakfast was always the same, with no gluten-free and dairy-free options (except the GF bread on demand). The fruits were always apples and oranges only. The breakfast room lady made a point that the kitchen is open until 10 am even though we were there some 20 minutes prior to 10 am. They did not appear happy that we were their guests.

Pay x amount for the room amd still have to pay for parking. I drive a truck that technically fits in the parkaid but the antenna hits every pipe down there.

The breakfast was good - hot eggs and ham/sausage plus usual breakfast options. The lady running the breakfast room was lovely. Our room had a small kitchen which was unexpected but would be nice for longer visits. It’s an older property that has been updated.The gym is very small. The only thing that disappointed me was how dismissive the front desk staff were when we were checking out and I was trying to talk to them about a couple things that needed attention in the room. I believe you can’t fix it if you don’t know, but I guess you’d have to care too.

Wonderful, cozy hotel
While there are a plethora of lodging choices in the Inner Harbour area, if you are looking for tremendous value, a comfortable, cozy, great location, views, immaculately kept and clean, friendly staff, lovely rooms, safe, sufficient, secure parking, guest fitness and laundry rooms this hotel is for you. Honestly, I have traveled extensively, and this is a world-class property. Be advised, it is a "smallish" hotel, and while the hotel and individual rooms are wonderfully decorated and equipped (to include lovely lamps, multiple outlets for electronics and comfy, well-built useful furniture, including wonderful beds and linens) the common rooms/areas are on the small "European-style" side. While the hotel offers a lovely hot/cold breakfast that will satisfy every palate, it does not have a bar or restaurant, but...there are a variety of wonderful restaurants/cocktail lounges literally within just steps of this hotel. For me, the kitchenette (full stove, oven, fridge, microwave, sink, pots, pans, flatware, Keurig machine, table/chairs and useable, comfortable balconies) were just wonderful and really made my park-side room a home away from home! Both the Red Ball ferry and Victoria Clipper are across the street (with a lovely little park in between). Everything you'd want to visit in downtown Victoria is within a few minutes of a lovely walk in this beautiful, safe feast-for-the eyes city.
