Wonderful bed and breakfast!

This bed-and-breakfast was absolutely stunning! What a great place for anyone visiting Victoria.
The staff was fantastic. The room was absolutely wonderful from the fireplace to the bed to the bathroom furnishings and the quaintness of everything
Breakfast on the patio was wonderful, and so was lounging in the living room, deciding what to do in Victoria.
Lots to walk to nearby. A great place that I highly recommend.

Perfect location and breakfast

Great location, Government House and gardens right across the street. Our room had everything that you need (kitchen, fridge, sitting area, etc.) and was quite spaceous, with living room and bedroom separate. The room we had was kind of in the basement, and the furniture was quite dark, which gave the room a dark look and feel. We didn't spend much time there though, as there was a lot to explore in the city.
Breakfast was fantastic, with 3-course meals every day served to the table in wonderful Victorian surroundings. The furnishings of the main house & common area are beautiful and historical.

Excellent experience

Beautiful house in a beautiful neighbourhood. Great hosts, good breakfasts and coffee. Had some really good chats with the host and guests on the front porch over breakfast. ~20m walk into downtown Victoria or ~$10 Uber. If visiting in summer be aware there is no air conditioning. Parking is tight and first-come, first-serve so might need to park on the side street. Overall an excellent experience.

Treetop suite family stay

We stayed in the treetop suite arriving from the UK with our 2 teenage children using Abbeymore Manor as a base to explore Victoria.
Comfortable rooms, and a great size for the family to stretch out in and relax. Small kitchen area to use if you wish, with the addition of a pull out sofa bed.
Beautiful quiet neighbourhood to explore, a short walk to Dallas Rd and the coastal sea path, the Craigdarrioch Castle and the Lieutenant Governor's Residence and grounds.
Jeff was a wonderful host and made us feel very comfortable. Breakfast from 8am to 9am, all freshly prepared and cooked when you arrive. They do not offer a choice, but we did not expect that and I am sure if asked they would accommodate any requests.

Post surgery short stay

I booked a stay at the Abbeymore Manor, because I was having surgery in Victoria BC and need to stay close to hospital. We arrived late to a suit that was warm and cozy, with a feel of pure comfort. The care the owner ( Jeff) took to know and understand the guest needs is wonderful. I would recommend the Abbeymore Manor to all types of guest, short stay or longer.
